When I start working with computers in 1980, I found myself in a new world that I quickly learned to love. My first computer job was working in a 22 story insurance office building in Detroit. They had well over 2000 dumb terminal (terminals that do not have a Central Processing Unit 'cpu', memory, drives of any kind) connected to their mainframe computer system, which is where the hard drives, tape drives, cpu, memory, controllers, etc. were located. In 1982 I was involved in the installation, upgrading, software installation and of hundreds of IBM PC XT's. Trained people how to use them and run the software. Worked with a co-worker to setup one of the first pc computer networks. The rest of the story I will present on other pages, the bottom line is that I am passionate about computers and now I want to share my years of knowledge and experience with you.
